Update: UChicago COVID-19 Testing Program Impacts Due to Campus Closure (February 16, 2021)

With the extended cancelation of all in-person classes and non-essential activities due to the winter storm, all University of Chicago COVID-19 mandatory and voluntary testing sites will remain closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16, with all testing appointments during this time canceled. Mandatory surveillance testing program participants will be required to make-up their tests, and voluntary surveillance testing participants will have the option to do so.

Make up tests will take place Wednesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at either of the two University voluntary testing locations – Rosenwald Hall, 1101 E. 58th, Suite 100 (at University Ave.) or 950 E. 61st Street (Woodlawn Social Services), Room 3. No appointment is needed.

Mandatory surveillance testing participants who cannot attend the Wednesday-Friday make-up testing may attend the Sunday makeup testing at Rosenwald Hall (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Mandatory testing program participants who cannot make any of these times must reach out to COVIDSolutionsSupport@uchicago.edu or your designated testing program liaison for more assistance.

Please note: While testing sites are slated to reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, additional inclement weather and the potential for extended campus closures could impact this schedule. Please check your University email or www.uchicago.edu for the latest campus closure information. Please also note that wait times once the testing sites re-open could be longer than usual due to make-up testing.

If you have any other questions related to the program, please email covidsolutionssupport@uchicago.edu.
